What is Microwave Connectivity?
Microwave link technology (or microwave internet) is a line of sight communication system that connects a microwave link to radio signals. These radio signals transmit data using high-frequency radio waves between fixed locations. This forms a microwave network.
Our microwave systems use the availability of this technology for microwave radio transmission to send and receive microwave signals over a microwave link, ultimately providing a high-speed wireless internet connection to send and receive data.
Microwave link technology has a small wavelength that can overcome congestion in lower frequency bands and long-distance links exceeding 100km. However, these distances depend on frequency bands, the weather (rainfall or snow), desired availability (%), required throughput (Mbps), and antenna size (gain).
Like radio waves, microwave equipment close by enables the use of microwave frequencies without any interruptions. If frequency waves of microwaves are higher, the microwave link can also give the microwave radio band a large information-carrying capacity.
